Terms and Conditions for bookings with THC Ecostays

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Himalaya Mount View Kausani Resort (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking a room and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Guest Responsibilities

• Guests must present a valid ID upon check-in.
• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
• Any damage to the property caused by a guest will be charged to the guest's account.

In keeping with our heightened security procedures, we request all our guests to carry a photo -identity to present at check-in. foreign nationals are required to present their Passport and valid visa. Indian nationals can present any one of the following: Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card, Aadhar card or PAN Card.

Reservations & Cancellation Policy:

Booking and Payment

• Full payment is required upon check-in or as specified at the time of booking.
• Cancellation of a guaranteed reservation prior 45 days of the arrival date will incur no retention and the guest is eligible for full refund.
• Refund for the advance payment for free cancellation will take 15-30 working days to get the amount credited in the guest bank account.
• Cancellation of a guaranteed reservation within 45 days will incur 100% retention charges as per our policy.
• In case of early departure, retention equivalent to balance room nights will be levied.
• In case of no show, 100% retention equivalent to total room nights booked will be charged.
• No Name amendment after confirming the booking.

*Note: 25% of the card will be charged at the time of booking and balance 75% will be charged 45 days prior to arrival days.

Please note while depositing the advance, it may kindly be ensured that transactions are routed through UPI id, bank I.e. either to deposit Cheque or Demand Draft or transfer through Net Banking from your bank account.

We would not consider any cash deposit into our account as an advance towards your below booking, it is therefore earnestly requested to please desist from depositing the cash in our account to avoid complications at later date for either side.

Hotel Policy

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Act, 2003 (COTPA). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the district.

No Smoking Rooms

The Government of India has introduced a ‘No-Smoking’ legislation for hotels, restaurants and all public places. As a consequence, smoking is prohibited in all parts of the hotel except in the Balcony rooms and designated areas.

Liquor

Please note that liquor is not sold on the premises of the hotel.

Early Arrivals:

Check-in time of the hotel is 1400 hours. For arrivals prior to the hotel check-in time, we recommend that the room be reserved from the previous night.

Arrival / Departure

• Check-In time is 14:00 Hours and Check-Out time is 11:00 Hours.
• Check-Out after 11:00 hours are subject to the following charges: 25% of the room rate between 11:00 hours and 15:00 hours,
• 50% of the room rate between 15:00-18:00 hr’s and 100% of the room rate after 18:00 hours (Subject to availability on the date of departure) - All arrivals prior to 7 AM are billed from the previous night.
• The hotel reserves the right to charge for the entire duration of stay, in the event of an early departure. Terms & conditions are subject to change.

THC Ecostays Kids Policy:

Kids up to 7 Years of age can avail complimentary inclusive of Taxes and Breakfast. Kids aged over 8 years @ INR 1100/- per night inclusive of Taxes and Breakfast.

Please Note : no additional beds can be provided.

Use of Facilities

• The resort is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
• The resort is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your stay.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
